Headline Humdinging

The BBC has this headline on its web site:

Woman dies in Israel knife attack

A woman? Any old woman?

And who wielded the knife? Any old person?

Here's the first paragraph:

A woman has been stabbed to death and at least four other people have been wounded in a knife attack on a minibus in central Israel.

Well, we're still in the dark about identities, no?

Second paragrpah:

Witnesses said the attacker, thought to be a Palestinian from East Jerusalem, got up from his seat and began slashing at anyone within his reach.

Okay, I'm not the staid BBC but I would have written:

Arab kills Jewish Woman, Stabs other Jews

Am I too nationalistic?
