More on Exact Terminology

As you know, I'm a stickler for the right word or term.

So, I was happy to notice this in the by now famous article on Wal-Mart Jews in the South (here's the entire article):-

But in a short time it has become the center of the Jewish community here — and has begun to weave its way into this overwhelmingly Christian community.

This year a prominent local faith-based charity, consisting exclusively of churches, invited Etz Chaim to join. The charity promptly reworded it mission statement, replacing "churches" with "congregations."

See how it easy it is?

Now, follow me:

a. replacing "settler" with "revenant"

b. replacing "settlement" with "community"

c. replacing "refugee" with "internally displaced"

and so on.
