The Peace Call of the "Three"

This political advertisement appeared in Sunday's Hebrew print edition of Haaretz (approx. cost = $3500-4000).

It is signed by those Israeli authors that are most popular in the West (i.e., their not insignificant incomes from books sales), Amos Oz, A.B. Yehshua and David Grossman.

It is a call for an immediate mutual cease-fire.

Okay, I haven't seen it in Arabic but Nasrallah probably has it translated. So, I'm wondering, who/what is this "mutual" bit? Do they really think that the Hezbollah is going to lose this battle, if they can help it? They would, on their own initiative or in response to an Israeli offer, let slip what they consider victory?

No wonder these people who signed the ad write fiction.
