Six Gaza rockets strike Ashkelon within minutes

Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip fired six consecutive rockets at the northern Negev city of Ashkelon on Thursday morning. A few minutes later, three rockets struck Sdot Hanegev regional council, closer to the Hamas-ruled coastal territory.

Three of which exploded in residential areas of Ashkelon. A woman was lightly wounded by shrapnel in one of the incidents and several people were treated for shock. The rockets struck multiple locations in the city just before 8 A.M., one apparently scoring a direct hit on a house. Three other rockets exploded in areas outside of the city.
