I Got The Questions; Have You The Answers?

Going around:

When was the last time you ran for your life to a shelter to avoid being bombed?

When was the last time your children were terrorized to the point where they wet their beds even at ages of 6 and 7?

When was the last time your child demanded that the light stay on all night, and even then told you of his nightmares the next morning - all this on a daily basis?

When was the last time you realized that your child will need a psychologist to help overcome his/her fears of loud noises and sirens?

When was the last time your house had a near miss of a rocket fired at you, or worse, had your house crumble under the impact of a mortar shell?

When was the last time that you could not tend to your crops, because the last time you went out to your fields you were fired on by snipers?

When was the last time you lost your job because you wanted to stay at home with your family when your town was under attack?

When was the last time that your child saw your neighbor lying in a pool of blood?

When was the last time you checked to see if your child's kindergarten had a bomb shelter, and if not you took the child to another kindergarten which had one?

When was the last time you went with friends to have a drink at a pub and had a suicide bomber blow himself up in front of you?

When was the last time you made sure your child had an armed escort when he/she went on a school outing?

When was the last time your government decided to spend over 400 million dollars on bomb shelters for your town?

When was the last time your neighboring country swore to wipe you off the face of the earth, and does not recognize your right to exist?

galia, male or female, listen, if you are going to be stupid, we can stop the conversation.

reread AGNON:

“As a result of the historic catastrophe in which Titus of Rome destroyed Jerusalem and Israel was exiled from its land, I was born in one of the cities of the Exile. But always I regarded myself as one who was born in Jerusalem. In a dream, in a vision of the night, I saw myself standing with my brother-Levites in the Holy Temple, singing with them the songs of David, King of Israel, melodies such as no ear has heard since the day our city was destroyed and its people went into exile. I suspect that the angels in charge of the Shrine of Music, fearful lest I sing in wakefulness what I had sung in dream, made me forget by day what I had sung at night; for if my brethren, the sons of my people, were to hear, they would be unable to bear their grief over the happiness they have lost. To console me for having prevented me from singing with my mouth, they enable me to compose songs in writing.”

so would u accept the christian Arabs to remain in ur jewish state or would u punish them for converting ? the majority of the citizens in Roman Palestine actually converted to Christianity in the first century and then to islam later on ; there have never been pure Arabs any where outside Arabia ; u can't say that i'm an Arab and not Egyptian .
1 Question :if u don't give white descendants the right to stay in their born African countries why do u give ur people the right to stay in Palestine and not Egypt which gave birth to Judaism ?
and by the way they were the Turks at the gates of Wien not the Arabs

no, they stay. no "punishment"

the majority of the citizens in Roman Palestine actually converted to Christianity in the first century and then to islam later on ;

not the Jews.

there have never been pure Arabs any where outside Arabia ; u can't say that i'm an Arab and not Egyptian .

But I can say you are an Egyptian Arab? So, only Beduin are real Arabs?

1 Question :if u don't give white descendants the right to stay in their born African countries

whoa! when did I "do" that? I didn't!

why do u give ur people the right to stay in Palestine and not Egypt which gave birth to Judaism ?

Egypt to give birth to Judaism.

and by the way they were the Turks at the gates of Wien not the Arabs.

I stand corrected. But they were Muslims.

YMedad said...

sorry, on next to last point: Egypt certainly did not give birth to Judaism. We had commandments before going down there and our Law was awarded to us in Sinai Desert.

Martijn, good questions! I hope Ymedad doesn't just disregard those. You see, his obsession with zionism and getting their land back and other fiction stuff is more important to him than the lifes of innocent people, justice and peace. They don't discriminate in methods to get to their goal. But you forget one thing, while you so much after the hollyland, God gives to righteous.

I like the word you use to describe yourself inquisitive human being. However I would like to tell you, your ideas and comments show you are only inquisitive about one thing Zionism. You are acting more like an inquisitor taking some facts for granted, asking the wrong questions and not directly responding to questions. You are doing exactly what I’m doing now with you judging; with the difference I’m not calling you stupid. I think you need to be on the other side and live there as a Palestinian and experience how miserable Israel is making their life. You pretend to know God’s law more than any body. In this world the life of a child, a mother or a father is precious. The actions of Israeli Army now and the decisions of your leaders are harming your families more than the Hamas Rockets.
The information is available to make up the complete picture how it all started, how Jews were granted the land by British, which was not theirs to give. British gave it to you to solve Jew problem in Europe as an act almost of charity after the holocaust, after your people, your fathers, maybe you been so inhumanely treated by some who don’t deserve to be mentioned. Then, your Army comes and does the same. You took other people’s land, bulldozed their houses to the ground and treat Palestinians not as equals as they do not have any value. It is really sad to see. Who forgives history tend to repeat same mistakes

The problems of the world will not be solved on the level of thinking we were at when we created them, wrote Einstein.

I presume that you are sincere about considering yourself inquisitive. So, let's take this one statement of yours: "how Jews were granted the land by British, which was not theirs to give".

a) funny, but actually the Arabs did the very same thing - turning to the Brits to achieve recognition. You did see the film Lawrence of Arabia?
Or this - "Efraim Karsh and Inari Karsh have made a convincing argument that many forces, both local and foreign, were at work at the time the settlement was agreed. In their words, 'even at the weakest point in their modern history, during the First World War and its immediate wake, Middle Eastern actors were not hapless victims of predatory imperial powers, but active participants in the restructuring of their region.'

They argue, for example, that Iraq and Trans-Jordan were not simply British inventions, but owed their existence to a compromise between Hashemite imperial greed and well-intended British efforts to meet local needs and allay the fears and suspicions of their allies."

b) it wasn't only the Brits. The 1919 Peace Conference at Versailles, San Remo in 1920 and finally the League of Nations 1922-23. In other words, all of the civilized world recognized the Jewish right to reconstitute its National Home.

c) why would Arabs, who invaded and occupied the Land of Israel in 638 have a better right than Jews who, over all the years of Israel returned to their country, attempted to, created literature and spiritual and cultural achievements throughout all the centuries?

Your turn.

Britain didn't own the land to give it to jews. That's the fact! We are talking about israel, so let's stay on topic. It seems everytime the conversation is about israeli responsibility, israeli shift it towards arabs, hamas etc.
You are trying soooo very hard to justify the gaza occupation. It almost seems you need to convince yourself that all the bloodshed is for a good cause. Are you comfortable with your own conciousness?
After all, you may have a legal right for the land, which you abuse anyways. But do you have a moral right to it?

YMedad said...

er, what post-disengagement "occupation" are we talking about? or are you referring to the Egyptian 1948-67 occupation?

g said...

er?!?! Again you are trying to shift responsibility! 1967-2005! almost 40 years of oppression and no rights! That's what i am talking about!!!!!!!!! That's not enough?????????? You are responsible for raise of Hamas! you provided ideal soil for this organization! As you sow so shall you reap!!!!

And let me ask you again. Are you comfortable with your own consiousness? Do you honestly believe that God wanted you to return to the land and take it BY FORCE from other people, and kill thousands of innocent people? What God do you worship?
