Nothing New With Newman

David Newman writes in an op-ed attack on Gerald Steinberg's NGO-Monitor that

despite many requests for NGO Monitor to investigate, on an equal basis, the activities and funding of right-wing NGOs, many of which support illegal activities in the West Bank, it has consistently refused to do so.

I presume Gerald will deal with a point-by-point response and explain Newman's misrepresentations (or, to be fair, not), but for 20+ years I and others have made that same request of all the left-wing progressive radical humanist groups David and his father and his friends have been connected to, directly or indirectly.

They have been outstanding at ignoring Jewish residents' "rights" if their domicile is across the Green Line, or their health, their well-being, their education, their social welfare needs, etc. are defined as belonging to "settlers".

Basically, because of political opposition, certain Israelis are quite simply excluded from the category of being "human" by the NGOs of the above labeled camp.

Actually, he's plagiarizing.

Didi Remez already wrote that in Haaretz the other day and I dealt with that example of McCarthyism.

David is an expert on political geography.

That's dealing in crooked lines.
