Ingenuity

I was thinking about that volcanic ash disaster and today, I said to someone that it recalls to me our experiences as residents in Yesha (Judea, Samaria and Gaza) during the two Intifadas.

The Arabs threw rocks so we ducked. They threw more rocks and we put a grill over the windows. We could see properly threw the grills so we plasticized the windows. The plastic warped. We then came up with armored glass.

So, if volcanic ash is dangerous to the airplane motors, - the volcano ash is dangerous to aircraft because the molten rock that erupted through the glacier, solidifies and then shatters into tiny fragments. The smallest of these are carried high into the atmosphere and cannot be detected by radar - well, be creative.
