Let's Be Precise on Population Movement

In Cal Thomas' very good piece on the "White House Press Corpse", Helen Thomas, entitled "Helen Thomas Retires, and Not a Moment Too Soon", I caught this:-

Should the "Palestinians" go home to Jordan, which is where many of them are from? Where would Thomas like to send the 1 million Jews from Arab countries, or the Ethiopian Jews? Perhaps Thomas should "go home" to Lebanon.

While currently the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is demographically almost 70% "Palestinian", the Arabs who claim to be "Palestinians" originated more from Syria, Lebanon and North Africa. See here, as well as here and here, too, on the issue of Arab immigration into Mandate Palestine.

Jordan was a land mass until 1921 inhabited by nomads and beduin. Very sparsely populated. There weren't very many Arabs there to go into Mandate Palestine although those that did usually did so to kill Jews.

To sum up, if you want then to go somewhere else, it should not be Jordan.
