The Imbalance of the NYTimes

I got a note from Joe Settler:

http://www.nytimes.com/roomfordebate/2010/09/01/negotiating-with-the-israeli-settlers

Amazing, 6 authors giving their opinions on Settlers, but not a single Settler asked to offer their opinion.

And not a single right-winger in the bunch.

I have a comment here.

So, this morning, I sent this to the NYT's Public Editor:-

As I wrote to you a few days ago, on the issue of having the NYTimes open its pages to a true representative of the residents in Judea and Samaria, I find that six experts are commenting on our situation here, entitled "Negotiating With the Israeli Settlers".

Six persons, none of them who live in Judea and Samaria, although one does reside over the Green Line in Jerusalem, none of who identify with the issue from our point of view, four who are opposed to our position, two of whom who are Arab supports of the Palestinian Authority and one Israeli identified with the extreme wing of the Israel 'Peace Camp' were selected.

That seems imbalanced and therefore biased.

What do you think, sir?

Well let you know if any response.
