Klutzy Clegg

Here comes Perfidious Albion. Again.

Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg today described Israeli settlement building as

"deliberate vandalism"...at a press conference alongside Mahmoud Abbas during the Palestinian president's visit to London...

Clegg said he condemned "continued settlement building in the strongest possible terms".

...Asked about the escalation of the rhetoric, he said: "Once you've placed physical facts on the ground that make it impossible to deliver something that everyone has for years agreed is the ultimate destination [peace via a two-state solution] ... it is an act of deliberate vandalism to the basic premise on which negotiations have taken place for years and years and years. And that is why we have expressed our concerns as a government."

"Vandalism"?

Education has improved.

Soil use has improved.

Health and hygiene concerns have improved.

Security has improved.

Environment needs have improved.

The list is long.  Very long of the positive acts and policies of Israel in Judea and Samaria for all residents.

What hasn't improved is the attitude of the Arabs of the territory of the former British Mandate over Palestine towards Jews and Zionism.  And the resulting incitement, hostility and terror they perform.

Mr. Clegg, you are such a vandal of the truth.

And such a klutz.
